COMMUNITY HEALTH NEEDS ASSESSMENT

Island Health has completed a comprehensive Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) which included all communities surrounding the hospital and its clinics. The CHNA identifies those health needs that are viewed as most significant and highest priority by key community members.

We are committed to improving the health of our community, both in the short-term and in the distant future. We are developing an Implementation Strategy that responds to these health needs. We hope that our efforts, combined with those of government agencies, other nonprofits and local organizations, will lead to a healthier community.
