Island Health’s Occupational Therapy department assesses and designs rehabilitation programs that allow you to participate in all the activities you find meaningful. Whether the task is working, engaging in hobbies or special interests, or taking care of yourself or a loved one, our clinically-based interventions will get you back to enjoying your everyday activities. Our qualified occupational therapists will set goals to foster independence and personal productivity to help overcome limitations caused by injury or illness, developmental delays, psychological or emotional difficulties, or the effects of aging.
Our therapists are trained in disease processes, treatment techniques and exercise principles, all which focus on restoring your comfort and reducing limitations. Once you establish your personal goals, we will help you succeed, and possibly even surpass your expectations. We are a comprehensive treatment center that works with a range of patients from pediatric to geriatric care.
