Island Urology Welcomes Dr. Brock Boehm
Island Health welcomed Dr. Brock Boehm to its Island Urology clinic this week. He comes most recently from Darnall Army Medical Center in Fort Cavazos, Texas, where he was Staff Urologist. Boehm completed both his internship and residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa.
Boehm believes in providing comprehensive and evidence-based urological care to every patient, guiding them through challenges to arrive at successful outcomes. His particular interests lie in urologic oncology, and he has expertise in robotic surgery and advanced technology for minimally invasive techniques where surgery is required for benign enlarged prostates or kidney stones.
“I enjoy the privilege of taking care of individuals who have very sensitive medical and surgical issues,” said Boehm.
Boehm is excited to enjoy all the outdoor activities here in Anacortes with his wife of 15 years and their four children, particularly skiing and snowboarding.
Chief Medical Officer Jason Hogge, MD, says Boehm will make a strong addition to the Island Urology clinic.
“Dr. Boehm brings experience, expertise and most of all, a passion for treating his patients with care,” Hogge said.
