Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?
A: I enjoy caring for women at every stage of their life, whether it’s planning for their first child, finding the right contraceptive for them, managing menstrual symptoms or dealing with menopause. Taking care of women is a special privilege; one that I’m honored to be able to do!
Q: What are some of your clinical interests?
A: I have a special interest in managing complicated pregnancies and deliveries, as well as managing challenging gynecologic issues such as cervical dysplasia and ectopic pregnancies.
Q: How do you like to spend your time when not seeing patients?
A: During my down-time, I enjoy being outside with my husband and four children, running, hiking and biking.
Q: Why did you choose Island Health?
A: After 10 years of service in the US Navy, where I began my physician career, my family and I fell in love with Washington and all it has to offer: mountains, forest, coastline and water. It was an easy choice to join the Island Health team!
