Executive Leadership
Colin Walker, MHA, is a Pacific Northwest native with more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience spanning ambulatory operations, quality improvement, value-based care and community health. He has built and led high-performing teams across complex healthcare systems, with a focus on improving access, advancing quality outcomes and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Most recently, Walker served as Regional Director of Ambulatory Quality and Population Health at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, where he led strategic initiatives to strengthen quality performance and improve health outcomes across the communities served. Throughout his career, he has overseen multispecialty ambulatory care centers and partnered closely with clinical leaders to develop coordinated, patient-centered systems of care.
In addition to his healthcare leadership roles, Walker has been deeply engaged in community service and nonprofit leadership. He served as the founding board president of the Washington School-Based Health Alliance and has contributed to several nonprofit boards focused on improving community health and access to care.
Walker earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and his graduate degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Washington.
Away from work, Walker’s greatest joy is spending time with his family as a husband and father to a son and daughter who attend school in Anacortes. He enjoys all things active and outdoors, particularly skiing and mountain biking with his family throughout the Pacific Northwest. He is also proud to serve as an assistant football coach at Anacortes High School.
