Island Hospital announced Monday it had received 100 doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine in its allotment for this week, 300 fewer than it requested from the state.

“We’re all extremely disappointed,” CEO Charles Hall said of the reduced allotment. “We’re ready to go. It really is about not receiving enough allotment.”
