Designation acknowledges consistent success in multiple wound healing benchmarks.

Island Health is honored to announce Island Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine is a recipient of RestorixHealth’s highest achievement, the Wound Center of Excellence Award, for both award periods in 2025, earning the special designation of a 2025 Distinguished Wound Center of Excellence.

The Wound Center of Excellence Award recognizes wound centers that have demonstrated exceptional success by meeting or exceeding clinical, operational and patient satisfaction benchmarks. Because the center has been acknowledged as a RestorixHealth Center of Excellence for two consecutive award periods within one calendar year, Island Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine has also been awarded the 2025 Distinguished Wound Center of Excellence designation.
