The Island Hospital Employee of the Month for January is Information Systems Applications Analyst JoAnn Fain.

As an application analyst, JoAnn assists in the design and development of applications and processes for Island Hospital and clinics. She ensures they run smoothly and maintains and upgrades them as needed. JoAnn is the ultimate team player. She will go out of her way to help her colleagues work through complicated issues even if they are out of her usual scope of activities. She is an excellent problem-solver and has exceptional analytical skills that are invaluable to Information Systems and Island Hospital. JoAnn is unique in that she approaches problem solving with technical knowledge and creativity. However, what truly sets JoAnn apart is her genuine demeanor.
