The Island Hospital Employee of the Month for July is Patient Appointment Lead at Anacortes Family Medicine Kimberley Proudfoot.

Kimberley started as a Receptionist at Fidalgo Medical Associates and then was promoted to Registration Supervisor before moving over to become the Patient Appointment Lead at Anacortes Family Medicine. She has been instrumental in getting the Respiratory Clinic started this year, working tirelessly to make sure we could meet patient care needs as the clinic evolved during the early stages of the coronavirus pandemic. Kimberley’s experience and integral knowledge of Island Hospital clinic operations makes her invaluable. She is often called on to cover other clinics’ reception areas during staff meetings or to answer questions. Her supervisor notes, “I greatly appreciate the time that Kimberley gives patients and staff, always with a smile on her face and a kind word.”
