Allison’s main role in Dietary is with the Room Service Program which she has helped elevate since she started at Island Hospital. She has trained multiple staff for this role and is a true leader in the department. Every day, Allison goes above and beyond for our patients as well as for her team members. A recent example of this was when Allison personally made sure to follow through on a patient’s request to have her meal cooked a specific way. The patient was ‘blown away’ not only with Allison’s kindness but also her commitment to satisfaction.
Since her arrival in 2016, Allison has characterized Island Hospital’s Promise to consistently provide the best customer service to our patients, families, guests and colleagues. Congratulations and thanks for being an inspiration, Allison!
