The Island Hospital Employee of the Month for June is Information Systems Network Engineer Shane Taylor.

Shane has led a number of important and expansive projects at Island Hospital recently, including the Unified Communication System installation, Island Primary Care – Orcas Clinic infrastructure build, and the wireless network and network switch upgrades. Shane’s calm demeanor, technical expertise, leadership skills and relentless work ethic are an exceptionally rare combination. He is highly respected by everyone he interacts with—customers, vendors and peers alike. His supervisor notes, “Shane is a true ‘rock star’ and we are blessed to have him as a member of our team.”
