Island Health is seeking a full time board-certified general surgeon to join our Island Surgeons team. With the recent addition of our DaVinci V surgical robot, we are looking for candidates with robot experience, proven quality outcomes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster relationships with referring physicians. The ideal candidate should be willing to take on a leadership role in a community hospital setting and enjoy the collaborative environment of a close-knit team that values mutual support.

SUMMARY & QUALIFICATIONS:

Ideal candidate will have 3 plus years of experience to include robot experience, good quality outcomes along with excellent communication skills to develop relationships with referring physicians.

• 4 day work week

• Integrated Meditech Expanse EMR platform, utilized throughout the organization
• 1:4 Call Schedule
• Work closely with cohesive, multi-specialty group providers with support staff
• Active Washington State Medical License or the ability to obtain one
• Compensation Range: $486,268-$583,522
• Sign On Bonus: $30,000
