Book a 20-minute appointment with an Island Health occupational therapist (OT) to assess if your child is meeting fine motor developmental milestones or falling behind their peers with this pediatric developmental screening.  Some fine motor developmental milestones that an OT will look at are a child’s ability to stack blocks, lace beads on a string, imitate lines or shapes or write their first name.  A pediatric developmental screen is important to identify if a child may need early intervention.  Early intervention gives a child the opportunity to have extra practice of fine motor skills.

Age range set to 3-5 years old.
