Six Ways to Spice Up a Deviled Egg

Mix up your breakfast routine by trying one (or all) of these twists on a classic deviled egg! These can be prepared on the weekend and stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to four days. Grab one for a quick protein option in the morning, as a healthy snack or to boost up your lunch.
Ingredients
- BASIC
- 6 eggs, hard boiled
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- EVERYTHING BAGEL
- 6 eggs, hard boiled
- 1 tsp dry minced garlic
- 1 tsp dry minced onion
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp poppy seeds
- 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp cream cheese
- 2 oz smoked salmon, sliced
- GUACAMOLE
- 6 eggs, hard boiled
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/4 red onion, minced
- 1/2 jalapeno, minced
- juice of 1 lime
- 1 Tbsp chopped cilantro
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- PICKLE
- 6 eggs, hard boiled
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp pickle juice
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 Tbsp minced dill pickle
- 1 Tbsp fresh chopped dill
- BUFFALO
- 6 eggs, hard boiled
- 2 1/2 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 2/14 tsp mustard
- 1 1/2 Tbsp blue cheese, crumbles
- 1 Tbsp buffalo sauce
- CURRY
- 6 eggs, hard boiled
- 1 1/2 Tbsp plain yogurt
- 1 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1 1/2 tsp lime juice
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
Directions
- Place eggs in a large saucepan and cover with cold water. Set pan over medium-high heat and bring water to a boil. Turn off heat, cover pan with a lid and let sit for 11 minutes. Drain and rinse eggs under cold water then peel.
- Halve eggs lengthwise and scoop out yolks into a medium bowl. Add ingredient variations of your choice, then mash yolks with the back of a fork and stir until mixture is smooth.
- Spoon mixture back into each egg white.
