Learn what flange size you should be using. Explore the best tricks for maximizing what you pump. Review efficient ways to store your breastmilk. Examine the new federal PUMP law and what is required from your employer as far as frequency and length of breaks. Have fun while designing a door sign for when you are pumping at work. Share ideas with other pumping parents on reaching your feeding goals. Discuss teaching your baby’s care provider how to pace bottle feed, so you can keep up your supply when you are working.

Offered free by Island Health In honor of World Breastfeeding month’s theme: “Enabling Breastfeeding: making a difference for working parents”

Session will be facilitated by Teri Shilling, MS, IBCLC. Your are welcome to bring your pump, your flanges, your questions. Pregnant? Come and get ready. Had your baby? A nursing baby in your arms is also welcome.
