Island Health, located in Anacortes, Washington, is a public hospital (Skagit County Public Hospital District No. 2), whose comprising boundaries include Fidalgo, Cypress, Guemes and Sinclair islands. We also operate a primary care clinic on Orcas Island and serve many San Juan Island residents as the closest acute care hospital in the region.

Island Health offers an award-winning hospital, seven specialty and three primary care clinics. Island Hospital, a Level III trauma center and Level II stroke center, is a 43 bed facility committed to providing acute care services to our region. With a medical staff of over 170 board certified/eligible providers, Island Health has received multiple honors and awards including: Top 100 amongst all U.S. rural hospitals, a 5-star hospital rating by Medicare based on patient survey responses, and service excellence awards in Orthopedic Surgery, Joint Replacement, Spinal Fusion Surgery, Obstetrics and Emergency Care.
